Renault Leicester Riders secured the first win of the season with brand new Head Coach, Billy Mims enjoying a 107-101 victory over old club, adidas London Leopards.
In what was a thrilling game at the Sainsbury’s Classic Cola Basketball Centre, it was Purnell Perry, who had such success over the Leopards earlierin the season, when playing in Iceland, who did the most damage. He bagged a game-high 37 points.
Robert Youngblood led the Leopards scoring with 26 points. However, Leopards lost Jason Kimbrough midway through the first half through injury.
